Buying shorts can be a trial - how do you know if the fit will flatter or the colour will work? Well, relax, because these long shorts are bound to do the trick.

They are made by Ping, who pride themselves on desiging golfwear that is coloured and cut to suit women. These shorts in classic white are super-easy to wear, thanks to added stretch, have a flattering shape and have gorgeous design details in the form of beautiful spiral buttons on the back pockets, the side seam at the hem and at the front zip fastening.

They are practical too, with five useful pockets – three at the front (including a zippered one for scorecards) and two slash ones at the back. They measure approx. 23inches/59cms from waistband to hem, are soft to the touch and have a proper waistband. All of which makes them far too good to resist.
